Frequently Asked Questions
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE THE PROGRAMS OFFERED BY CESFOUNDATION?
CESFoundation offers scholarships to high school graduates entering college or trade school, as well as a mentor and network program. Our focus is to help support scholars who are entering or re-entering college with resources and tools to be successful. CESFoundation recognizes that scholars who receive professional and personal supports have a higher chance of achieving their goals.
Scholars who are awarded a CESFoundation scholarship each year will be invited to join the mentor and network programs.
HOW LONG DO MENTEES HAVE TO REMAIN IN THE MENTORING AND NETWORKING PROGRAM?
Once invited to join the CESFoundation mentor and network program, mentees will be required to commit to a minimum of 6-months in the mentor program.
Scholars can choose to remain in the mentor and network program after the 6-month period.
IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT?
CESFoundation will begin working with scholars as early as 16 years old and supporting their transition into a trade school, college or university. Scholars can enter the CESF program at any age between 16 - 25 but must be registered to a trade school, college or university during the CESFoundation scholarship roll out period.
Scholars are able to apply for the CESF scholarship up to age 25.
